About Mini
MINI
Hello? Hello up there…can you hear me? Yes, I am Mini but you know awesome things come in little packages! Oh yes indeed.
So I just wanted to share my mini journey with you. I am only 4 so it really is a mini journey so far.
I was in a home that wasn’t so nice, so I asked the big Dog God in the sky if they could help me find someone who would just love to have a Mini of their very own to fill up their heart and suddenly I was surrendered to rescue. The big Dog God heard me.
In my other home they wanted to use me for pigging but I was no good at it. I was skin and bones and was yelled at a lot so I was very happy when I was given to rescue to try and find another home.
My foster carer loves me to pieces and has taken such good care of me when I had to have my entire tail removed due to all the previous injuries I had. So now I have a MINI tail as well!
I have a foster brother that I adore playing with. I like that he is a bit smaller than me because it makes me feel tall... I know I shouldn’t say that but it is true.
I love car rides and I do like my walks. I have never been walking before and I am finding I like getting out there and seeing the world without being hurt. Did you know there are all these other dogs and people out there? I see them on my walks but I don’t necessarily need to say hello to them. Oopps I hope I haven’t seen you and ignored you. I just enjoy looking around and being allowed to sniff and wander where ever my heart wants and it is so wonderful. I know my foster carer will protect me so I can relax and explore without fear. I have never had anyone to protect me before.
I really do like meeting MINI humans. I think they are called children. They make me happy and I try to wag my tail but now my whole butt wiggles instead. I know some tricks to make my foster human smile. I can do “sit”, “stay” and “shake” however I am still working on “come”.
I am told that there are other animals out there like cats, guinea pigs and something called Livestock (what they are I have NO idea) but I have never seen them and being a bit shy I am not sure how I would go meeting them.
I have to admit that after my first home I am a bit wary meeting lots of dogs and people. Small dogs are a bit scary however with some time I will get used to them.
I am not a fan of loud noises or loud voices / yelling. It reminds me too much of my before life.
I show my foster humans my appreciation by barking just a bit to let them know someone is at the door or going by but of course I know to keep it a short conversation! I also like to help with the gardening every now and again…not often, just now and then. I dig a hole for them all nice and ready for them to put a plant in. I think they must find it hard to decide which plant to buy because they have to fill in the hole until they make up their minds. I don’t take offense though. I just like to know I helped a little bit.
I love cuddles. I could happily sit on the couch with a nice soft squishy human and cuddle and snuggle all day. I get a bit sad when they go out but then I just settle down and dream of when they come home again.
If your heart needs a Mini to fill in a special mini spot then can you please have a look at me? I would love to fill in that special spot and be the very best mini companion you could ever want.
Medical notes
Mini has had her tail amputated due to old untreated breaks
