About Gecko
π¦π GECKO ππ¦
Introducing Gecko the Viszla X, who is on the lookout for his furever home π₯°
Gecko is such an affectionate and loving pup! Oh soooo goofy and clumsy in the most cutest of ways π₯° Although he is growing quite large quite quickly, he still likes to think heβs a lap dog ;) π
Gecko loves adventures and new places π He loves jumping into the car and heading off to go explore! He would love a family willing to take him on their adventures π
Gecko is perfect around dogs of all ages, gender and sizes. Heβs perfect around cats and perfect around children of all ages and sizes too ππ
Gecko has such perfect manners although being a puppy will need to continue to practise these manners. He knows sit, down, shake, come and is learning to walk nicely on a lead π
This beautiful boy would suit any home willing to love him! He is the perfect dog π the right amount of clever and goofy! Smart and funny! Playful and cuddly! Large and gentle! Had a bad start in life but loves life! Independent but Best fur friend β€οΈπΎ
If youβre looking for a pup that loves cuddles and adventures, then gecko's the one! β β
πΎππ Gecko whilst in Rescue irritated an old injury and unfortunately its left him with a permanent limp. We have seen the vet numerous times, had scans and unfortunately the vet is unable to determine if this will be a permanent quirk or if it will fix itself over time. This is not something that effects him, he still plays, runs, walks etc.. does all things any other dog will do πππΎ
If you would like to meet Gecko, please message for an application π
Medical notes
Irritated old injury whilst in Rescue, has a permanent limp. Does not effect his ability to run, walk, play etc.. Vet has given clearance for adoption.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 7 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
