Hi my name is Roxy, sadly Max & I need a new home through no fault of our own due to family circumstances changing.
As you can see by my photo’s I’m emaciated and need to be fed 3 or 4 meals a day until I put on weight.
I was vet checked whilst with my current owner in Sept. but there is no mention with health issues about my weight. SRV will be taking me to their vet ASAP!
I’ve most probably lost weight because I’ve been stressing since living outside since my circumstances changed and I’ve not been getting enough fed enough.
When Max & I were with our original owner 4 years ago we were both obedience trained to level 1 but for the past 4 years sadly we haven’t been walked so the training wasn’t kept up. Sad smile I don’t need to go back to school because I’m an old girl now so would just like to chill.
We’ve lived with children of the ages 9 & 13 but I’m not interested in children and tend to stay away from them. I’m house trained and like Max I pull on the lead, I know how to sit, stay and have recall.
I stress badly when Max isn’t around, we can’t be fed together because I’m very possessive over my food. I will be wormed when I have my vet check up because that could be another cause of me loosing weight, although the last vet did say they wormed me but I most probably needed another dose.
I’m scared of thunder storms and fireworks, Max isn’t but I hate them.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!
Please go to Stafford Rescue Victoria’s website where you will find the Adoption Application.
Please make sure you read all the information on the Adoption page, as well as the links at the bottom.
Medical notes
Roxy is currently emaciated. She has started eating 4 meals a day and will be vet checked again soon. The vet she saw previously couldn't find anything wrong with her.
