Tigereyes is a sweet heart, eager to learn and loves nothing more than being by your side. He'll make a lovely family dog, best friend to a teenager or companion to someone semi-retired or who works part-time or from home. He's past the early puppy stage but still young, with energy and easy to train. He's good with kids and other dogs, likes the cat but does want to play so better with a confident cat that will put him back in his place as chasing is a fun game.
At 11 months old he's about lab size and has a little more growing to do with a beautiful soft coat and distinctive tiger stripes. He loves a snuggle and seeks out his people to stay close by.
He knows how to sit and shake and is learning not to jump up to say hello and give doggy kisses so will suit someone with the time and interest for further training and to take him for daily walks as this will bring out the best in him. He walks well on the leash and is friendly towards other dogs, will bark when someone comes to the door or hears an unexpected noise outside at night, reassuring more than annoying.
As he is still a bit bouncy and enthusiastic he'd be suited to a home with school aged kids and where he is not left alone all week as boredom may set in. He'd do well at doggy day care or with someone to walk him whilst his family are at work and school.
Overall, a lovely boy who deserves a dedicated and loving new family who would like to enjoy his company and the love he has to give.
