About Steve and Dave
BONDED BROTHERS, STEVE OR-ANGELES & DAVE CREAMSICLE
(Named by their foster family)
Steve Or-Angeles (as in Los Angeles but Orange) Dave Creamsicle have been inseparable since they were rescued with their three other siblings at barely 4 weeks of age. All were bottle fed and have been in the loving home of three children.
Steve loves his food. He pushes anyone out of his path when it’s dinner time. He is very curious about what his foster family are eating and will jump in to steal a piece if he’s quick enough.
Dave gently pushes through and eats his full. He is also curious about what else is on offer but will only taste test if asked.
When it comes to having a bath, Steve doesn’t mind. He accepts he needs cleaning, as long as he is held with confidence, he feels safe and at ease. Steve grooms himself well but sometimes needs help removing wet food from his face.
Dave is not fan of the bath. He cries and attempts to climb away and can be successful if not held properly. He also grooms himself and is slightly fluffier so requires more work. He often has a dirty spot on his nose from wet food :)
At play time Steve jumps into and attempts to climb EVERYTHING. He is naturally outgoing, seeks attention and wants to play with people. If ignored, he will climb your leg to get noticed. Generally confident. Not much frightens him. Loves to be nursed.
Dave is playful but a bit more reluctant to dive in. Startles easy but still a very rambunctious player. Also loves to be cuddled.
At bedtime, Steve & Dave both love to snuggle. They will lay in your arms like babies and spend hours in your lap or on your chest. They can sleep in super odd positions, almost upside down or half hanging off the couch.
Overall, these are incredibly affectionate and loving kittens and would be great pets.

Adoption details
Once your fur friend is chosen, prospective adopters will fill out an adoption application and arrange a date for us to do a home visit. The purpose of the visit is to make sure that the environment is appropriate and that the animal is the best match for you.
We prefer that our adoption cats and kittens should be indoor animals, but if there is supervised access to a safe and secure outdoor area, that's OK. The reason for supervised outdoor access is to minimise the impact on native wildlife and to make it less likely that the animal comes to grief through motor vehicle impact and exposure to FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) through cat fights.
Our adoption fee of $280 for a bonded pair is a non-profit amount covering desexing, microchipping, first F3 vaccination, flea and worming treatment and transport.
