About Rigby
Rigby had a sad start to his life, left outside on a chain 24/7 prior to been rescued. He is an energetic boy who is so eager to learn. As he had no training we have put him into a training program with our behaviourist, to help him with his social skills and he is showing to be a quick and eager learner. He is already walking well on the lead and eager to follow commands.
Rigby is a loving young dog wants to be friends with other dogs, however he can be very boisterous and dominant which some dogs don't like. For this reason we feel initially he will be better as an only dog. He has met children, but he can be boisterious so a home with older children may suit. He will need a owner who is willing to continue the training program put into place for Rigby, once he understand the rules and limitations he is an amazing dog. If you are up for a challenge, Rigby is your dog!
RIGBY WILL REQUIRE A CONFIDENT AND EXPERIENCED OWNER, as initially he will push the boundaries until he understands where he sits in the pack of the family. We will support you with help from our trainer during the settling in period.
Rigby is currently boarding with our behaviourist, Bear the dog Behaviourist, so a hand over training session will be provided before he goes on trial adoption.
