About Caesar
*FOSTER TO ADOPT*
Can you believe it, I am still on the hunt for my new home?!
I was surrendered to Lort Smith when my previous carers could no longer provide me with the activity and mental enrichment that I needed.
I will need a home with a confident handler that will be able to take me to obedience training so I can learn some manners, as I do at times still act like a big goofy pup (I have been brushing up on my manners whilst being here at Lort Smith and improved a great deal). I would love to be able to come inside and be part of the family, as I absolutely love being with my people.
I need to build up some much needed confidence around unknown people, as I can be at times be a little unsure initially.
I would adore a human companion that will be able to take me on leisurely daily strolls around town and I absolutely love going on adventures and being provided with lots of engaging activities to keep my mind occupied.
Because I do not know my own strength, it would be best that I do not go to a home with small children or the elderly, I would never forgive myself if I accidentally hurt anyone.
I can go to a home with a calm and confident dog, being at Lort Smith has really helped me with friendly social engagement with other canines on a daily basis and this has built up my confidence significantly.
I can sometimes have itchy skin flare ups, especially in the warmer weather, so someone that will be able to help me manage my skin would be wonderful.
I will be a foster to adopt until my ear infection is resolved. Ear infections are also something that will have to be managed.
If you think I sound like the perfect companion for you, please call the Adoption Hub for more information.
Medical notes
On medication for ear infection - this is why foster to adopt. Prone to skin allergies in summer but these can be managed.
