About Buster
Hi, the name is Buster. I am looking for a new home. I'll tell you about myself and you let me know if you think we're a good match! I am super friendly and love people. People are made for cuddles I believe. They also enjoy my tricks such as shaking their paw before I get my dinner! I need lots of people time such as exercise, games and giving you snuggles. I love my people so much I get lonely if they are away too long. So my dream new owner will be home lots so I can spoil them with doggy attention. I would also love to share my new home with another dog so I don't get lonely when my humans go out. A nice friendly dog who likes playing would go down perfectly!
I am an active young dog. I like playing tugger and fetch and also running. I like to get out for a walk/run every day so I can use up some energy and see what's going on out there. I can get a bit too excited and bouncy so they tell me I need someone who can remind me about my manners and keep training me.... life is just so much fun sometimes I forget to keep all my paws on the ground! Are you a patient person who will be okay with my excitement while I'm still young and help me improve??
I love kids but the really small ones are a bit easy to accidentally knock over so if you have older kids, or just adults, I would suit you down to the ground.
I also like dogs but sometimes I forget they don't know me and I try to bounce up to introduce myself to them.... my carer reminds me when we're walking that I must be polite and not get silly around new dogs. If you are up for some lead training I promise I will try to do my best to learn some doggy etiquette, but a bit of patience goes a long way too! I can run by your side if you like a jog. I love car rides and I especially loooooove the beach!!
I quite like cats. But when I say like, I mean I like to chase them. So I've been told I'm not allowed to live with cats (mean or what!)
I need good high fencing so I can't get out and greet any passing dogs. I'm quite a big boy (and rather handsome, even if I do say so myself!)
If you have a space in your home for me, and are active, and you have some time to help me with my manners and training, then I will love you and keep you warm this Winter, and play with you and keep you fit, I promise!
I can't wait to hear from you, my new owners!
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check with flea and worm treatment, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership) and sterilisation. The fee does not include heartworm treatment.
ADOPTION NOTES
Adoption Fee: $365
Our adoption process starts by completing our full enquiry form via the SAFE website. The chosen applicant will then chat to the dog's carer and a meet-and-greet is arranged so you and your family (including any existing dog) can meet your selected dog. The adoption paperwork will be emailed to the applicant to complete, ready for the meet.
We carry out a yard check or will accept photos of your fencing/yard if you're out of the Bunbury area.
The adoption fee must be deposited in full into the SAFE Bunbury bank account before an adoption trial can start as we cannot accept cash. We offer a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home. Upon completion of the trial period we arrange transfer of the details on the dog's microchip from our name into yours, and email you copies of the dog's vet records.
