About Dixie
ADOPTION FEE DROPPED TO $50!!!
Meet this purring machine.
Dixie is approximately 18months - 2 years old. She was found wandering with 2 kittens and rescued only to be pregnant again.
It has taken her some time to adjust to being a house cat. She is finally learning the joys of snuggling with her humans. She is slowly adjusting to sharing the house with three dogs and two other cats. She prefers the bigger dog to the smaller ones.
She is an absolute fanastic mother and that crosses over to the tiny humans too. She will protect them with everything she has.
She is extremely playful but isn't that interested in toys. She much prefers to box with your hands and is learning no claws or hard bites when she does.
She is also a cheeky monkey and will also hide under things and wait till you approach before striking out. She never does this to the tiny humans though only adults, dogs and other cats.
She has fanastic hunting skills and will catch any bug that decides to enter your home. Free pest control!
Dixie is a perfect family cat. She is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready for adoption. To help our adult cats get adopted, we have lowered their adoption price to $50 (application pending)
Medical notes
She does have a bald spot on her back that the vets think was from a previous injury. The hair will probably not grow back but does not affect her health in any way, but gives a lot of character!
Adoption details
-You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos our your home please also including photos of your fencing
-A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
-Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
-Once the 14-day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
For interstate adoptions- Adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting we will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport cost including flights will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
