About Arnold
Hi everyone! My name is Arnold and I am a very cute and playful 1 year old cat. I’m also completely deaf! This means that I have to be an indoor cat. The outside world is a little bit too scary and dangerous for me.
This also makes me the perfect cat for someone who likes to live their life out loud!
Do you like to vacuum all day, every day? Arnold says, “Go for it!”
Do you like to play the drums at 3am every morning? Your neighbours might mind but Arnold sure doesn’t!
Because I’m deaf, I also sometimes need special attention. If I can’t see my human or didn’t see them leave a room, I like to show my frustration by meowing loudly. I’ve found that my humans respond very well to this method. To make sure that I keep track of my humans I also like to cuddle up next to them whenever I can! Because I get a bit anxious when left alone, I would do best with a human who is home most of the day. This way I get all the attention that I rightly deserve.
I also love to play! I am probably the fastest cat in all of Australia. This level of athleticism obviously takes practice, so I like to sprint around the house to keep myself in shape. I’m also the most excellent hunter you have ever seen. I practice my craft by hunting bugs, toys, specs of dust, and occasionally my humans’ feet.
Some other things I enjoy include getting brushed, eating treats, snuggling, and sitting by windows on sunny days. Oh and did I mention that I’m a good hunter? Because I’m like really good at hunting you guys. I also love to have my photo taken! Have you seen my eyes?? My foster mom says that I’m really “Instagrammable” - whatever that means!
One other thing, I like to be the only baby/kid in the house! Because I’m deaf I don’t like to be approached without warning which makes it a little hard for me to get along with young kids. Also, I need to be the cutest member of the household at all times.
That’s about it! If you have any questions about me please contact my foster mom. I’m a very busy cat (being the best hunter takes a lot of practice!), but I’d still love to fit you in for a meeting.
Arnold is located in South Yarra.
