About Goblin - Located in Brunswick East
Goblin is a gorgeous, loving cat with a big personality! He has a glorious black/dark brown floofy coat which has white tufts under his elbows, and big green eyes. His coat makes him look bigger than he is. He enjoys spending most of his days exploring his surroundings, Goblin is a curious cat that isn't afraid to use the house as his own personal playground, hopping up onto windowsills, along couches and the kitchen bench. His cheeky personality shines as he loves to play with dangling strings and toys, and use his scratching post.
He is very snuggly and will quite happily curl up on the couch or your lap for afternoon naps. Goblin is mostly gentle and snuggly in nature, he let's me pick him up for cuddles and will often climb up onto my shoulder and neck and collapse in to my chest for snuggles at night time. He also makes adorable little squirrel noises when he is settled! He loves to follow me around the house acting as my shadow.
As snuggly as Goblin is, he sometimes has trouble expressing his emotions and we are trying to help him with some bad habits. If he has had one too many pats and wants to be on his own, he will latch onto my arm and start to bite my hand. He doesn't mean it maliciously, the bites are usually playful and not hurtful but I think it is important that potential adopters are aware of this. He also has some urges and a certain soft toy that he likes to get extra "friendly" with which could be due to him being a fixed a bit late. He sometimes tries to behave like this when on our laps, and we are discouraging bad behaviour by pulling away and saying no and moving away from him, which seems to be working slowly but he needs patience. We try to play with him during the day to let his energy out as he can be quite nocturnal, living up to his Goblin name!
Goblin would make a great pet for an attentive, patient and quiet household with adults, as he can be timid if there are too many noises and if there are too many people around he will hide. He would suit being the only pet in the home, and to not be left on his own for too long as he loves human company. Goblin will make such a great cat for the right home that can provide him with the love, patience and affection he needs.
