About Heidi
Beautiful Heidi is a fun adolescent! Any type of game and she's into it - fetch, pool, wrestling, or a good run at the dog park!
Heidi is toilet trained, crate trained, and comes from a home where she is used to sleeping in a human bed each night. (But she has adjusted to living in a kennel quite well in foster care.)
This lovely girl is only 9 months old so has plenty of energy to burn and manners to learn! The great news is she is already friendly with all people and dogs with a great, confident temperament.
Heidi is a very quiet girl. She does 'talk' a little, but rarely barks. She would be perfect in a home with close and fussy neighbours as there would certainly be no noise complaints!
Heidi loves her food and is easy to train and motivate with treats.
Heidi would be great in a home with another fun and young dog of a similar size, but is also quite comfortable when she is by herself. She is suitable to a home where she is left alone during work hours.
Heidi has tested well with a cat, but we would expect her to chase and play with a cat given the opportunity. She is suitable to a home with a cat provided the new owners are prepared to do further training with Heidi.
Heidi is friendly towards all people, including children, but as she is big and sometimes silly, older, teenage children are probably best.
Heidi only arrived in care a week ago, so we are still getting to know her, but if you are interested in adopting contact Tegan on 0421 506 482 between 8am and 8pm.
Heidi is located in Hamley Bridge.
