About Iggy
Iggy is a loyal, affectionate dog looking for a forever home to shower her in love and cuddles. She is good with other (non dominant) dogs and kids and loves nothing more than a good, thorough belly rub.
Before Iggy came into care she was more of an outside dog, so she is still learning her manners and how to behave in the house - the TV may need to be turned up when snoring. She needs a family willing to dedicate the time to her training but she is a quick learner and eager to please, a few good treats and you’ll have her undivided attention.
Iggy is currently fostered with a older female dog and a puppy. She does get annoyed at the young pup jumping on her from time to time but does love to wrestle with her , so we are thinking either a only dog or another dog that is not full on energetic. Iggy is not good around birds. And does some food aggression if not left alone by other dogs to eat her dinner.
Iggy does like to go for a walk, but bearing in mind her breed and breathing a light daily walk with the chance to stop and smell the roses would make for one very happy pup.
If you’re looking for a happy go lucky cuddle buddy then Iggy is the girl for you, she would love nothing more than to be allowed to cuddle with you on the couch of an evening and warm your feet at night.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
