About Otis (ON trial)
Hey I’m Otis and I’m a typical little terrier. I’m fun, friendly and full of life.
I love riding in the car, meeting new people, making k9 friends, playing with my toys and the company of my people.
I am sweet and affectionate but being young and male I sometimes have selective hearing.
I’m walking well on a harness, sleeping in my crate overnight, have learnt to sit, will wait for my dinner and my toilet training is coming along. However I am in my teenage years and still learning so need someone who is patient to continue my toilet training.
I currently live In a multipet house hold and get along well with the other dogs small and big. My foster mum believes I would best suit a k9 companion who will play but not be at me all day.
A home with another dog would be awesome but I don’t mind my own company. I absolutely do not want to live with a cat, I will chase them and tell them what I really think.
I enjoy kids company, the ones over 7 that are respectful of my space aren’t going to be at me all day and pulling my hair would be ideal.
I need an active family, daily walks would be amazing
I’m still a pup so learning new things everyday. I like food so am keen to learn. I’d like to head to obedience classes with the guidance of professionals hopefully
I would a prefer a home with terrier experience because if you have had one of us kind befor you know we can be a little cheeky 😉
If you are interested in meeting me, please message my foster mum with the type of home you can provide and why you think you would be best for me
She will send you an application form and hopefully you can come meet me in Whittlesea 😊
Medical notes
Otis has no known medical concerns
He is desexed
Vaccinated
Microchipped
Intestinal wormed
Heartwormed
Flea prevented
Tick prevented
Please note I was recently castrated and instead of both my testicles being descended and in my scrotum, I had one hiding in my tummy. My vet helped me out and I am perfect now.
Adoption details
Our adoption process has 5 stages -
#1 A brief description of your home-
We ask that you send an inquiry with a brief description of the home that you can provide and why you think your home is suitable for the animal you are inquiring about.
Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. if this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
