About Ragnar
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Ragnar is a beautiful playful puppy. Since being rescued from the pound two weeks ago he has been very healthy and happy playing with his brother and other animal friends at his foster home.
He is a particularly friendly, adventurous puppy and will fall in love with anyone who can offer him pats and cuddles.
Dogue de Bordeauxs are known for the following characteristics: Devoted, Even Tempered, Loyal, Companionable, Vigilant, Courageous
My Ideal Home:
Whilst a puppy, Ragnar would love to go to a home where there is someone at home a lot who can spend plenty of time training and loving him. He would also be happy with another tolerant dog.
Ragnar will be happiest if allowed to spend time with the family both indoors and outdoors, and would love to be included in lots of family activities such as trips to parks and the beach.
This breed is not expected to be highly energetic, but is possibly crossed with other unknown breeds that may be more energetic so Ragnar would be best to go to a family who has time to give him a daily walk.
He will need to be returned to our vets in Newcastle to complete his vaccination and desexing that are included as part of the adoption fee, and we will need to conduct a yard inspection to ensure it is safe for him, so we will be prioritising local Hunter area applicants.
What is Known About My Background:
Ragnar was surrendered to a shelter at a young age and has been in foster care since 6 weeks of age with his brother Rolo. He has no known trauma and will very likely be a happy, healthy, well adjusted dog.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
As a playful puppy, Ragnar will need to be supervised when around other animals and young children, but so far he has played well with older dogs, cats, children and babies.
