Handsome Henry has had a rough start to life being passed between homes who didn't understand how to cater to his breed. Lucky for Henry a local vet recognised this beautiful boy's potential and contacted us after he was due to be euthanised. Understandably Henry does have anxiety and needs a home who ideally has experience with German Pointers and can provide him with stability, training and most important love! Although not friendly with cats or birds; Henry loves other dogs and needs a canine buddy he can lean on when he is feeling anxious. Henry is very friendly and great with people however we feel he would be better suited to families with older children where Henry will be in a calm environment and get daily exercise. Henry has picked up basic commands quickly and is a very smart boy who needs ongoing mental stimulation. We promised Henry he will only go the best home where he can spend the rest of his life going on family outings in the committed and loving home he deserves.
