About Duchess
Hello. My name is Duchess and I am a happy and bubbly mastiff x dalmation x pointer pup.
I am a cheerful and content little girl who enjoys the good things in life. Playing puppy games with good friends... oh, there is nothing better. Or cuddling up in a person's arms. Aahh. There are so many good things to enjoy. Why would any puppy ever be glum when there is so much happiness to be had in the simple things life can offer.
I am quite the socialite. I tend to flitter from one playmate to the next. Chasey, tummblies, tug-of-war... all fun games for a pup like me. Oops. Shouldn't a duchess be more genteel and ladylike. Well, with six brothers in my litter, I have learnt the importance of play, and just how much fun it can be.
Well, actually, I am a very gentle and snuggly pup. I love cuddling up and sleeping in my foster mummy's arm or playing gently with the children in the neighbourhood. Oooh, do you have children? I would really enjoy children of my own to play with!
You may have noticed that I tilt my head whenever people talk to me or make funny sounds. Apparently that's a sign of intelligence. Hehe... that's what my foster mummy said, but I really do it to make her laugh.
I really am an intelligent pup though. I have learnt how to sit for treats already and am learning the ins and outs of toilet training. Ins for sleeping, and outs for... well you know the rest.
I sleep in my very own bedroom in my foster home. Well, I do share it with my siblings, but I am a good pup and sleep quietly all night. Would you let me sleep inside at your place too?
So... if you are looking for a gentle, happy and loving pup like me, look no further. Here I am.
I can't wait to meet you.
Love, Duchess.
