About Lucy DB500
Lucy needs care – she is very sweet and very social. At 5, she has left all the silly puppy antics behind her but will certainly bulldoze her way into your heart. Lucy is people oriented and will choose cuddling on the couch with you over the back yard any day.
She loves kids who will smother her with love and attention. In return she will smother them with kisses and love! Older kids would be perfect as they won’t get scared by her occasional jumps when excited or playing but, being 30kg, this might bowl a younger child over. Lucy is very much an inside dog who totally loves to snuggle up in bed with you.
She doesn’t really like being on her own and does need good fencing but would probably be OK if she had a friend. She would very much suit a family where someone is home more often than not. She can be a bit timid in thunderstorms too but is fine with her family around her.
Lucy is progressing with her training and is doing well with sit, shake paw, stay and come but does sometimes forget as it is all still new to her, but she will flourish with a new family committed to continuing this training.
Lucy does have a lot of energy and will need plenty of exercise but this is easy as she absolutely loves walks and going in the car. She has also been great with other dogs and friendly when at the park.
Lucy has not been tested with cats.
