About Cooper ~ Foxy X Jack Russell (on trial 26/10/19)
Meet Cooper, a 12-month-old Foxy x Jack Russell (possibly?) with a happy and fun nature. Cooper is only a small boy who is looking for his forever home where he can be either an only dog, or other small dogs. Under observation, Cooper has been good with small dogs, but not so good with larger dogs.
Cooper has been observed to be good with young children too. He is quite energetic, affectionate, loves to be centre of attention and often needs constant reassurance when he is around you.
Cooper would be best suited for anyone that can cater to his energetic nature (either a single person, couple, or family).
Cooper is not a massive barker (unless he is barking at a lizard or bigger dogs) and is able to be left home alone if you work through the day. Guaranteed, Cooper will be sitting at the front door waiting to greet you with a smile as soon as he hears your footsteps.
Cooper requires house training and could use some training as he can be quite full on always wanting to play by biting your hands or getting up in your face and licking it and gently nibbling at your face.
Cooper does not walk well on a lead yet, so he will benefit from some positive training. He can use a doggy door if he is shown where it is (Foster Carer has a doggy door which Cooper uses with ease).
For more information or to meet Cooper please contact his foster carer Nathan on Nathan_drn@outlook.com Cooper is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Cooper's adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
