About Hero **on trial**
*In foster care in Neutral Bay, Sydney*
Hero is a sweet little guy who loves to play games with your feet! (That's when he's not draped over your knees. Seriously - he's the ultimate lap dog!)
This lovely fellow adores cuddles and snoozing under blankets. He'll happily sleep in your bed every night if you let him! While occasionally shy, he doesn't mind being left alone for a few hours at a time - especially if there's a nice sunny spot for him to nap in.
Fantastic with kids, Hero has less interest in his own species - though he might consider sharing his home with another small dog who doesn't demand too much attention from him :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Hero is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be lovely and calm, with plenty of cuddles, comfy surfaces, sunshine and BBQ chicken! I'm more a people person than a pupper person, but may be OK with another small, friendly-but-not-too-friendly dog.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I like to relax in cosy places but also enjoy exploring my foster parent's office. My main exercise consists of bouncing around the kitchen, going on a few short walks a day (more like 600 metres than 6 kilometres!), and playing tootsies.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I've been living with a gentle four-year-old girl and I totally love her. Kids are great company, especially when they treat me like the sensitive soul I am.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Dogs - maybe, if you're not too big and boisterous! Let's give it a try. I've never met a cat so that's harder to say.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
