About Bolt ~ Wolfy X Staffy X Mastiff (On Trial 8/12/19)
Meet the sweetest little pup in Newcastle! This is Bolt - he’s a 4 month old Wolfhound X Staffy X Mastiff who is just all about the cuddles and love. He adores his foster mum (who is just utterly in love with him) and greatly appreciates her cuddles and kisses. He is very playful and likes to chase a ball or soft toy, but his favourite thing to do is to wrestle with his big foster sister! Bolt thinks she is just the best thing ever in the world! He also likes to meet new dogs and people and explore the world a bit - he is getting very confident and brave! But always sticks close to his foster mum just in case.
Bolt currently lives with cats and perhaps thinks they are a little too awesome, but is very gentle with them so would be well suited to living with a confident feline. He has also met some children and thinks they are really fun and good to give kisses! He is still at the chewy stage however so some littlies may get upset when he affectionately gnaws on their fingers …
Bolt may have a hearing impairment, so his new owners would need to be committed to meeting any challenges this might present. His confidence has grown incredibly whilst he has been in care, and with continued socialisation and training his foster mum can’t see his (maybe?) poor hearing being much of a problem in the future.
Bolt needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Bolt is such a lovely gentle pup who will grow into a great dog. If you have a loving forever home waiting for him, his foster mum might just be convinced to let him go to live the life he deserves.
As Bolt is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
