About 1449 - Chester
😺SAY HELLO TO CHESTER😺
So, I’m Chester and I’m a pretty laid back kind of guy, once I’ve learnt to trust you. At the moment I’m kind of shy, I’ve been to a few different homes, so it takes me a while to settle down, but when I do, I just have to start my motor up! My Foster Mum thinks I’m the most gorgeous ginger she has ever seen.
I live with my two sisters and other foster cats who shown me how to get pats. You just have to wait for Foster Mum to get into bed, then slowly sneak up on her and she gives you the most amazing head scratch. OMG, it’s the best thing ever, other than food of course!
Chester lives with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), so he will need to be an inside cat, which he doesn’t mind. He is cat social, hasn’t met a dog yet and lives with older kids that love giving him pats.
Chester loves to just lay around all day he hasn’t worked out this toy thing yet, but he will get there, however, he enjoys playing chase with his sister. Chester is litter box trained and will eat anything you give him, he just loves food.

1449 - Chester
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Ginger
DOB: 13/01/2019
Adoption Fee: $200
*Chester’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical Notes: Chester has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV, Chester will need to be an inside only cat. If you have other cats it is recommended that they are vaccinated against FIV and that you use precaution when introducing them to ensure that they get along without fighting.
Chester has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums and mouth. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. He will need his teeth checked at his annual vaccination. He may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. He may need teeth extracted in the future.
Chester also had Calicivirus, which is a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
