About Lulu
*In foster care in Helensburgh, NSW*
A whip-smart and independent lass, Lulu is very much her own purrson and can't wait to find her special soulmate!
Naturally shy and cautious upon first contact with new people, she quickly becomes the life of the party once she gets to know you! Play time with her foster carer is one of her very favourite things - she particularly enjoys chasings around the house, and a good old-fashioned game of hide & seek :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Lulu is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a person, couple or family who'll enjoy hanging out with me, but who will also be patient as I take my time getting used to my new surroundings. Although I love human company, I'm not really a lap cat (although in the colder weather I sometimes look for a warm lap to sit on in the morning!) - and I also need my own space every now and then, so I'm definitely best suited to family households with older children.
Recently, I've learned to walk on a lead in my foster carer's garden, which is SO much fun! It turns out that I'm a real nature lover, so access to a secure balcony or enclosed courtyard would be a lovely bonus.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Unlimited! I'm still very young and bursting with the joys of life. I especially adore it when my humans join in and play with me!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Any resident kids will need to respect my boundaries, so school-age and older would likely be OK. Although I'm a fan of pats, I set my own terms ;)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: It's possible I could live in harmony with a relaxed, low-key cat - just don't expect us to be best buddies! Ideally, I'd prefer to be the only pet in the house.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
