About Bonnie ~ 6 year old Boxer X (on trial 24/11/19)
Please let me introduce you to this lovely lady, Bonnie. Bonnie is a well-adjusted, 6 year old Boxer x girl. She is a gentle and forgiving dog, that would make a great family pet. She has a love of lazing on the sofa if you let her and will snuggle up late into the evening. She will also sit quietly on the porch and wait all day for you.
Bonnie loves a good fast run and is well suited to run beside a bike on lead. Letting her run through the bush she always runs behind the bike so she knows where her person is. She will need a good amount of exercise and daily walks are a must. She walks great on lead so no need to worry about her pulling. When meeting other dogs, she stands still while they bark around her - she is well socialised.
Bonnie loves a nice big bone to chew on. One meal a day in the evening with a few treats thrown in seems to keep her at a good weight. She is house trained and will not go pee till she is put out in the morning. Bonnie can also sit, come, stay and shake. She isn’t a barker, actually her carer hasn’t heard a peep from her.
Because she has had to fend for herself with a brood of puppies to keep them fed, she will chase wildlife and or maybe cats. So we are not recommending she lives with cats or small animals. Another dog would be fine for company. She is also very well adapted to be with children.
She is only six years old with plenty of life in her and she would make someone who likes big dogs a faithful companion. If you are looking for the perfect companion dog, look no further, you are not going to meet a more suitable dog than Bonnie.
