About Casper and Ziggy
Ziggy and Casper are beautiful white twins with identical grey blazes on their heads. Very frightened when they first came into our care, it took some 2 weeks to allow us to pick them up, but both have now settled well into their foster home. They live happily with their resident humans, climbing onto an available lap for a purring cuddle, as well as the several other felines in the household.
Ziggy loves life and is always looking for a game to play. She is very affectionate, and looks out for her brother, Casper.
Casper is just full of life and adventure.
Like many kitties, both are rather wary of strangers and decide to make themselves scarce when someone new comes around - finding a hidey hole until the coast is clear. This has rather hampered a couple of visits from potential parents, so if you’d like to provide a home for these gorgeous kitties please plan for some time, and bring patience, for your initial visit! If they are ignored, they will finally decide to come forward for a pat…..
Due to their colouring, both Casper and Ziggy must be indoor cats. We believe they would fit in with most family environments, rewarding their human(s) with lots of love and fun once they’ve had quiet time to adjust and settle in. Probably not suited to a pet for a young child, there is no reason to believe they wouldn’t be happy with gentle older children. Casper does love being around his sister and the other cats and sometimes gets anxious if he can’t find them, so we are hoping he might find a furever home together with Ziggy, or perhaps within a family that already has a cat in residence.
Both kittens are microchipped, vaccinated and desexed, so are ready for their new adventure.
If you are interested in learning more about Casper and Ziggy, or visiting them at their Baulkham Hills foster home, please contact their carer, Debbie.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
