About Kovu 🐻
Hi Everyone,
I would like to introduce myself to you all.
My name is Kovu, although my foster mum calls me her big lovable goofball most of the time.
I am a Great Dane x Mastiff mix who is nearly 5 months old.
I know I may look big but that’s the thing I don’t realize how big I am sometimes and can get quite excited around kids and jump a little, it’s only because I love them so much.
So my foster mum thinks that my forever home should have bigger kids so that I don’t accidentally hurt one of them as I would be very upset if I did that.
I am still only a puppy, I know a very big puppy but that just means I have extra love to give you.
I like to think I’m a lap dog and I will take every chance I get to jump up for cuddles.
I love my humans and I try to please them.
My foster mum has taught me how to sit and shake hands and I’m really getting the hang of walking well on my harness.
Mum says as I’m going to be a big boy this is important to listen and not pull while walking. I must admit I do get distracted at times but I always manage to refocus on mum.
I will need you to continue to show me new things and keep working on my walking as I’m always happy to learn.
I love my doggy foster brothers that I currently have and we always have fun chasing the ball or just rumbling in the backyard.
I sleep outside with them in a big cozy thing mum calls a kennel.
The only thing my foster home has that I’m really not sure about are these hissy little fluff balls.
I try to be nice but they don’t seem to like me 🤷♀️
I’m sure if they just got to know how lovable I am they would eventually love me, but I’m thinking maybe it’s because when I say hello I bark a little.
I should maybe work on that 🤔
As much as I love my foster home I really am looking for the perfect Forever home. Mum tells me I deserve that and she will help me find my perfect humans.
I really can’t wait for that as I want to show them just how good I can be and will love them forever.
Mum says she has spoken to the vets and they have recommended I get desexed at 6 months of age due to my breed.
This means ideally my forever home needs to be on the Central Coast so I am close to be able to have this done when the time comes.
So please if you want big sloppy kisses and a big lovable goofball in your life and you think you have the perfect home for me please apply through the link mum put at the bottom of my ad.
I’m located in Lakehaven on the Central Coast and I really can’t wait to meet you 😍
Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
