About Gracie ~ Staffy x Cattle x (on trial 9/10/19)
Gracie is a 4 month old Staffy x Cattle Dog x Wolfhound puppy. She is very cuddly and a bit of a sook, but her puppy dog eyes will melt your heart!
Gracie is currently living with a female Maltese shitzu and they get along quite well. She also does not seem bothered by the foster carers chooks. She is a big girl and loves her food. Like many puppies, she can sometimes guts her food down a little too quickly and give herself the hiccups.
Gracie has been an indoors dog in her foster carers home and is currently learning better manners like not jumping onto the dining table or checking out the bins. She loves to chew things and can be quite vocal. She is getting used to walking on a lead and learning toilet training. It is always recommended that puppies complete puppy training to give them the best start at life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise and training.
Gracie can be quite jumpy and playful so would best suit children over 7 years old. Gracie would best suit a home with another dog to play with, she has been doing really well while her foster parents are at work. Gracie gets travel sick when in the car for up to an hour and will cry unless held.
Gracie needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She currently sleeps in her foster parents bed but will sleep in her own bed during the day.
As Gracie is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5-6 months old.
