About Robert Randolph
In permanent care.
Please note: Bobby's new home will include another dog for company.
Bobby is a really chilled out elderly gentleman who loves food and sleep. He is scared of children. He would suit a quiet home with someone around most of the time as he loves company, and will follow his human around so he can be close to them. If he is a little unsettled in the evenings, providing he does not need to go out for the toilet, he may pace a little until he is wrapped in a blanket and his human stays close by to comfort him until he falls asleep - and he usually sleeps right through the night in his bed, especially if it is close to his person(s) where he is reassured all is well.
His sight is not quite what it was, but once he is familiar with his environment, he finds his way around with confidence. He would love a small companion with whom he can bond and follow around to "learn the ropes".
He does love a short walk a couple of times a day, and enjoys sniffing his way along, to keep in touch with the neighborhood gossip! He may even get playful and bounds around when people he loves come home.
Bobby is fine with cats and chickens. His ideal would be someone home most of the day and another small older dog to hang out with.
Bobby is a dear boy who deserves to be spoiled for the rest of his days!
Thank you to Lyndsay of Paw Focus Photography for the fantastic photos of Bobby.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
