About Minnie
Hi my name is Minnie and even though I was the tiniest kitten out of all my siblings, I am the most confident and outgoing. I have a bit of a story to tell (below)... but for the short version her it is :) Kids don't scare me, I loooove playing with my kitty friends and I live for cuddle and bed time with my foster mum. I am adventurous but also like to just chill on the couch and watch TV. It takes me a tiny bit to get used to new faces but once I know you're friendly I want to be your friend. I you think I'm a winner like I do! contact the awesome rescue who saved me by hitting enquire.
Long version
I was a bit unlucky (and lucky). When I was just 1 week old my foster mum was called to a storage shed where my mum was hiding us keeping us safe. My mum was a bit scared and tried to attack my foster mum but she was quick and got mum in a cage straight away. One by one she collected my siblings and put them in with my mum, and then it come to getting me. She could hear me crying but couldn't see me. You see I was a little adventurous and got myself stuck under a cupboard and couldn't get out! But my foster mum knew I was somewhere even though she couldn't see me. She took a gamble in lifting up the cupboard to see if I was there and it took an effort to do. Lucky she did otherwise I wouldn't be here today. I think that's why I was so tiny but I never let it get me down especially when wrestling with my brothers.
When I was a bit bigger I got really sick where my eyes were swollen shut for an entire week :( but with some meds from the doctor I was able to get better and my eyes are all good now. This has made me a little special cause at times when I'm scared or stressed my eyes start to water a little and makes it look like I'm crying. I'm not sad just my eyes do that. The doctor said it won't affect my ability at being the awesome kitty that I am, just that my forever people should know that my eyes might water on occasion and that it only happens to me; I can't give it to any of my kitty friends :)
4 of my siblings have been lucky enough to find their forever home but myself and my sister Lotti are still waiting, so if I'm not what your looking for check her out. She's not as awesome as me lol but she's close to it. I want to give a shout out to another pretty cool kitty who has been waiting a while and that's Sissy. She's a bit quirky but the best foster big sister I could ever ask for. Well thats all from me now, so if you want to meet myself or my foster kitty friends contact lovely people who saved me.
Adoption details
All adoption enquirers must fill in an adoption form that we will send you if you email us at CQanimalsociety@outlook.com. Due to the high volume of animals on death row, our own familes, and paid jobs, we will endeavor to answer your enquiry as quickly as possible.
All our adoptions tend to be local, but we have connections all over QLD so are more than happy to consider all serious adoption enquiries. A house/yard check will be done if we can get a local member (if adoption enquiry is not Rockhampton based) to assist. Please note that we will be treating any potential adoption with the upmost care as the animals safety and welfare is our number one concern.
