About Millie & Coco
*FOSTER TO ADOPT*
Although we look different and have different personalities, we have grown up together and are always by each other’s side. Mille is the kelpie, I am the terrier and we are like two peas in a pod! Unfortunately our previous carer could no longer look after us so we are on a mission to find a new home - together of course!
I am full of enthusiasm and a lover of life! I also act as Millie's eyes and provide her with confidence boosts when she needs them. In new environments and with new people, she can be a little shy but I take care of the initial meet and greet, and Millie follows my lead. Once she warms up, she loves nothing more than a cuddle and head scratches. She is very gentle while I love to play. By adopting us, you've got the best of both worlds.
Ideally we need a quieter home with no other animals or young children. Our humans will need to manage Millie's glaucoma which is an eye disease that affects the quality of her vision. This is currently managed by regular eyes drops and vet visits - the staff are happy to go through this with you.
Millie is currently on medication for an old cruciate injury. And I am on medication for my skin and anxiety - just to help me manage my stress while I'm in the shelter environment.
For these reasons, we will be foster to adopt for the next four weeks.
If we sound like we would complete your family, please give the Adoption Hub a call, we'd love to meet you!
