Hi everyone!
My name is Jorah. I am a loving, smart boy who is eager to learn.
I sleep outside at night, on the patio with another dog. We have a kennel which we like to snuggle in when it's chilly, otherwise I just sprawl out on my blanket. I get along great with other dogs, and have a great time at the dog park. I am used to full time workers, and just hang out and play in the yard. I currently live behind 6ft fencing but may be ok with shorter fencing, as I don't seem to understand that I can jump, which is great!
I travel well in the car, and my favourite toys are squeaky toys like Kong 'Wubba' and rope toys. I don't like water much, though I am ok to bath - but I probably won't be a swimmer. I know how to sit, drop, stay, roll over, and spin around. I am food orientated and a delight to train. You'll see a blue mat in some of my photos; I love that thing! It's a cooling mat...My carer brings it out when it's hot and I lay on it to cool down.
I have previously lived with a foster carer who had a small child and I did great. I have not yet met cats, however if you have some, as long as you are keeping them adequately contained and they aren't roaming, I could easily be taught to be gentle around them by an experienced owner.
My ideal home has another dog for company, and will take me out a few times a week on walks or to a park. I will have medium energy levels and likely reach about 35kg as an adult. My mum was a bandog x mastiff and my dad was a small mastiff x also.
So what do you think, could I be the one for you? Please contact my rescue asap... I can't wait to find my perfect forever home!

- Fence requirements
- Outside shelter areas
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated and preferably desexed

Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet at your home, or in a public place. If you have other pets they must be at the meet. You may be required to travel to the pet; we infrequently have admins available to drive extensive distance and it also says a lot if someone is able yet unwilling to come to the animal they have applied for. If for example you cannot drive, feel free to talk with us about possibility of travel to you.
At the meet if you and the pet get along you have the option of either taking the pet on the spot (in exchange for signed contract and the full adoption fee paid upfront) or placing the pet on hold for up to 2 days with a $100 non-refundable holding deposit. This deposit is then taken off the original adoption fee should you proceed with the adoption. Should you place a hold, we will not proceed other applicants until you have removed your hold or adopted the animal.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold pets without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters, so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit is non refundable to avoid time-wasters. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the pet. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you place a $100 holding fee on the animal- the day you collect the pet you will sign an adoption contract and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
All animals are adopted out with vaccinations up to date; if for example you are adopting a young animal it may not have had a full protocol yet due to age- so any vaccinations due from date of adoption are the ethical and financial responsibility of the adopter. During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
