About Vladimir
Victorian Dog Rescue has a six-week full refund policy and a lifetime takeback guarantee that includes 50 per cent of the adoption fee refunded.
Hi, My name is Vladimir – and like that guy in Russia who has copied my name, I know what I want. I’m really smart and like to have a good chat when you’ve got some spare time. During the days, I love to lie in the sun, snooze and relax, ideally in the bay of a window with a good view of all the happenings in the world, all while I’m patiently waiting for you to come home.
I will always run to greet you at the door to say hi, how was your day.
Things I love… hmmm….. I love my food, a scratch under the chin – chasing a fluffy toy mouse and can work out the complex cat ball toys, they’re just so simple but I really enjoy playing with them.
In the evenings it’s great to sit with the humans watching the tv or a movie – I’ll be right there to make you feel safe and relaxed.
At night I like to sleep on the bed with you - I can get a little distressed if locked out of the main bedroom at night and like to be on the foot of the bed while we sleep, I’m super affectionate and will give you nose and head bumps as often as you’ll let me.
I do like company, so if you are out all day at work ideally if I can have another feline friend to hang out with during the day would be fabulous. I get along with everyone at my foster carers and I mix well, or if you are home most of or part of the day even better!
Well better run, I can hear some birds chirping outside and want to see what they’re up to – I hope you consider adopting me – I’ll be your pal for life.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
