About Verona
Victorian Dog Rescue has a six-week full refund policy and a lifetime takeback guarantee that includes 50 per cent of the adoption fee refunded.
Below is the link to a video of Verona:
Verona is a beautiful, young, tabby cat with a gorgeous golden tinge through her coat. She is quiet and gentle and you will often find her lounging in a room, surveying everything that is happening. She will watch the games that her fur family are playing and then, when the time is right, she will show her playful nature and join in the games.
Verona loves to help around the house, especially in the office. She sits by the computer screen and contemplates what is going on. If she does not get any attention, she will lay on the keyboard and demand some cuddles. Other times she follows from room to room, inspecting what is happening and making sure, she is not left out of the action.
With people she does not know, she is quite shy, however, very caring and loving to those she calls family. She will slowly walk towards you, calmly stop in front of you and gently and decisively touch you with her nose. She has a very calm and relaxing manner. Verona does not particularly like being picked up, however, in her own way gives a lot of love, especially by snuggling up beside her foster mum.
During her time in foster care, Verona has grown in confidence and has shown her cheeky nature. At night she sits by the hall doorway waiting until the lights are turned off and then she runs, the full length of the house, at breakneck speed, to ensure she gets the best spot on the bed!
Verona is dog friendly and would love to find a home with her sister, Ventura.
Thank you to Heather of Dixon Dog Photography for the fantastic photos of Verona.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
