About Hercules (Herky/Hercs)
The name Hercules conjures up images of strength and power. Our Hercules may be small in stature but he has a strong and determined little personality – so a perfect name really.
This sweet natured boy has adjusted so well to being in our care. Hercs is learning how to sleep through the night, and is adjusting well to his new routine. He may be small but has a lot of energy, and he will need daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy. Hercs walks extremely well on a lead and thoroughly enjoys a good session of fetch with a tennis ball.
Hercs has great manners, but is still young and learning some basic commands; such as stay. This gorgeous boy is extremely well behaved when left home alone and loves going on adventures in the car.
Hercs is pretty chilled out with other dogs. He will bark friendly greetings at most animals he sees and continue on his way. He does seek reassurance from his humans if scared or unsure.
This little boy enjoys being with his people and will be best suited to a home with confident adults or older teenagers.
Hercs is a adorable. He has stolen our hearts, so hold on – he has an eye on yours next!

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
