About Kismet
Kismet (aka Whisky) is a very loving and gentle dog. He is really affectionate and just wants to be close to his humans. His ideal family should have someone who is home often, or have another dog who can keep him company.
Whisky loves to go on walks in the bush or on the beach, although he doesn't like the water. He wants to say hello to every person and dog passing by. He gets along with all dogs big and small and is very gentle while playing with the small ones. He walks very well on the lead and never pulls. He absolutely loves children and is untested with cats.
Whisky loves his squeaky toy and is learning and how to fetch the ball. Living with another dog would bring out his playful side.
He knows how to sit and is currently learning other tricks. He is very food-oriented so that will help with his training. He will wait patiently for you to put down his food bowl and tell him OK, before eating.
He loves being inside or outside, as long as he is close by his humans. He can walk for hours straight but also doesn't mind lounging around all day either.
He doesn't seem to be an escape artist. His foster Mum once left the gate open for 5 minutes while unloading the car. Whisky just had a quick look outside but came straight back in! Whisky never barks or growls at anyone or anything.
Whisky is smaller in real life compared to his pictures, and is really just a big baby. He is so affectionate and sweet, and is such a loyal companion. Any person would be lucky to have him!
