About Marco DB490
Meet our adorable Marco.
Marco is now 20 weeks old and ready to find his forever family. He is a German Shepherd x and is a loving and affectionate boy who will be on your lap for cuddles the minute you sit down.
He does need to go to a house with another dog who will keep him company and be a big brother or sister, looking out for him and who he can learn from. Applications without an existing dog will NOT be considered for Marco. Nor will homes with old, senior dogs as Marco needs a friend with similar energy levels.
The current foster home has prepared Marco for the big wide world by toilet training him, teaching him to use the doggy door and basic commands such as sit, leave (for the cats), wait (for his food) and half mastering his mat training. His new forever home will have to be dedicated to his training, continuing the amazing work that his foster home has already begun.
Marco loves having human interaction and will always want to be where you are, even if you are sleeping, he will sleep on his mat beside your bed listening to you snore. If you give him the chance to play he will have the other end of the tug of war rope before you can even blink and will chase you and the kids, playing with you all day long if you let him.
He does require someone who is home more often then not and we are looking for a home who already have a dog, who can continue to teach Marco how to 'dog' properly and give him the company he needs when no one is home.
Marco has been living with cats and can go into a house with cats but may need a reminder to "leave" when the cats have had enough attention from him.
If you think that you can provide Marco his perfect forever home with your family, please click the link to fill out an adoption form.
