About Lindy-Lou
Lindy-Lou is house trained and crate trained. She sleeps all night in her crate and will also take herself there during the day for a nap.
She does not need any sympathy as she knows no difference in her life. You will have to provide comprehensive training, leadership and guidance.
Lindy-Lou is very outgoing, loves playing with other calm, well mannered dogs and her human guardians. The dogs in her life need to not react when she bumps into them or sniff them to find who they are. Because she feels with her body, when she is out and about, you must always be there to advocate for her if there is any uncertainty in her life or environment.
She is bouncy, happy and very energetic. Do not underestimate how intelligent this girl is. She is not a 'leave in the back yard girl', as she needs and wants to be doing something. She will not like being left in a backyard or you will have her barking the house down. She also loves pats and a slow gentle massage every night to help get rid of all those daily stresses.
Once she knows her surroundings, she moves around quite easily, but you do need to make sure not to leave anything that could be dangerous to her lying around. Remember to close cupboard doors and put chairs back under the table when inside. It is not necessary, but a nice thing to do.
NOTE: a comprehensive process will be followed before Lindy-Lou are adopted. This may include further questions and paperwork over and above the normal adoption application process.
Medical notes
Lindy-Lou has severe bilateral microphthalmia due to having the double merle gene. She was born blind.
