About Cathy
Cathy's past was a sad one where she was dumped by her former owner over 6 years ago and left to have litter after litter, and suffer from illnesses left untreated. Read her story here. https://www.facebook.com/streetcatsatcatmintcottage/posts/715990351858488
Cathy has come a long way from the being the very scared untouchable girl she was. She now enjoys a gentle pat especially under her chin, and seeks a gentle kindness from that special someone who will help her feel that she is safe, loved and won't ever abandon her again. Her coat is a long and lush one that needs brushing, although she is uncertain about whether she likes this or not at this stage.
Cathy has been enjoying the summer sporting the latest trend in cat hairstyles - The Lioness! With the absence of teeth, grooming to keep her lush long locks tangle free presents a challenge for her. The new do has been keeping her cool, tangle free and gorgeous as she patiently waits for her forever family.
She enjoys the simple life of cat where she can happily laze about, but also has a playful side where she can't resist chasing after string toys or that laser light!
She is best suited to an adult home that is happy to give her the time, space and love needed to gain her trust and help her finally feel at home where she will give you the loyalty and love in return for being there for her.
Medical notes
Cathy has been desexed, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worming. She is FIV positive and negative for FeLV. Cathy has no teeth as she suffered from stomatitis and needed them all removed.
