About Theodore
** INTRODUCING THEODORE **
Theodore, affectionately known as ‘Teddy’, another one of the brothers from the litter that Hagrid and Ollie came from, is a quiet achiever. He can typically be found doing his own thing and watching the happenings in his foster home from afar.
Whilst he is reserved, he does know all too well that morning and night means breakfast and dinner, so he is the first one to greet his foster mumma when she gets up and when she comes home from work. As the chunkiest of the four boys, it’s obvious he loves his food!!
Teddy loves catnip-filled toys and will throw them up in the air and run around with them in his mouth, happily playing on his own for ages. A particular quirk of his is dipping his toys in a water bowl and then continuing on with his playtime...
Scratching posts and high cat trees tickle his fancy. He’s shown himself to be very good at using his scratching post and not the side of the couch!
He loves to have his head scratched and his other favourite spot to be scratched is just above the base of his tail. He’s not so keen on being picked up but will tolerate a short cuddle – he’s definitely more of a ‘four paws on the floor’ kind of guy. Teddy is a reserved little bundle of fluff when it comes to meeting new people or other cats. It does take him some time to come out of his shell, but once he’s warmed up to a person or a feline buddy and become familiar with them then he’s a happy and smoochy boy.
Teddy is after a home that will allow him to explore his world slowly and will understand that he’ll engage with them on his terms. He’d do well in a relaxed and calm environment with no dogs and no small children. His ideal home would also have a calm and friendly adult cat to continue building his confidence. Teddy requires an indoor-only home or one with a secure cat enclosure for any outside time.
Teddy is fully litter trained, desexed, parasite treated and microchipped. He is located in Melbourne but is available for interstate adoption with transport fees payable by his adopter.
Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
