About Bluebell
This beautiful girl with her delicious caramel eyes will steal your heart in an instant.
Bluebell is a cattle dog x kelpie so has the colouring and smarts of a cattle dog with the lean, lithe, sporty physique of a kelpie. She could challenge the Australian high jump team at the next Olympics so high, secure, fences are a must.
She loves to give cuddles and smooches and will receive belly rubs with reckless abandon. Her little tongue lolls out of one side of her mouth when she is happy and she is very fond of a nice chewy bone.
Her love language can be intense but she takes correction well, is responsive to training and eager to please so she will be learning tricks in no time. She can sit and shake and will walk to heel. She is true to her breed of being strong, smart, hardy and loyal.
Bluebell is not interested in other dogs and will leave cats alone on command. She has not been tested around children. She loves to be with her people and has earned the cattle dog reputation of being a ‘velcro’ dog as she is never far from your right leg.
She is not vocal at this stage and travels well in the car. We are working on her fine dining etiquette and she has not yet been tested with recall although she has shown no inclination to be anywhere other than with her humans.
Bluebell would suit a home with space where she can run and play but where she can also be close to her human or humans. As she is intelligent, she will need mental stimulation as well as physical exercise and in return she will be a wonderfully loyal, faithful and loving companion.
