About 199 - Elsie
😍😍 INTRODUCING ELSIE 😍😍
Elsie is looking for her retirement home!
Elsie is a sweet little old lady who seems to have been through a lot in her life. She appreciates the simple things and is happy as long as she has a warm bed, good food and plenty of love. She loves to lay all curled up on the end of her foster mum's bed or on a comfy lounge chair where she can watch the world go by.
Elsie is great with other cats and dogs, so a home with other furry friends would be fine with slow introductions! If you don’t have any furry friends, don’t worry! Elsie would do just fine as an only pet, where she can get all the attention.
All Elsie wants is someone to love her and give her a wonderful home to retire into. She deserves to find someone willing to give her the time and love she likely hasn't received for much of her life. If you can find room in your heart and home for this beautiful sweet lady, come and meet her! She will melt your heart <3

199 - Elsie
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tabby
DOB: 27/08/2011
Adoption Fee: $100
*Elsie’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical Notes: The PRA vet thinks that before coming into the care of PRA, Elsie had been in an accident that damaged her lumbar spine. She is coping well and is mobile so no treatment is required at this time. In the future, this may cause her pain requiring medication and she will possibly develop arthritis. Elsie is very sensitive about being picked up, and dislikes being patted in some areas, possibly due to this accident.
Elsie has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect her immune system, however, she can still live a potentially long healthy life. FIV is transmittable through deep bite wounds. Due to her FIV Elsie will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats, however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
Elsie was exposed to ringworm, a common fungal infection and cat flu a respiratory infection. She did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by a vet.
