About Ruby
Introducing Ruby a 12mth old female staffy cross.
We are desperately needing a foster carer for Ruby.
Ruby is still very much a pup and as such is a bundle of energy.
Ruby is affectionate and loves a cuddle, she sleeps indoors and is toilet trained.
Ruby has been around young children but due to her energy levels can be a bit overwhelming for them so older children would be more suited.
Ruby requires regular exercise and training including supervised socialisation as she has had limited experience.
Ruby has not been exposed to cats, birds, rabbits, etc.
Ruby is unfamiliar with a lot of noises in the environment and can become anxious when she hears a noise she is unsure of. Training would also assist in this area, exposure to the world around her knowing it's a safe place to be.
Ruby does require stimulation, like all pups do, otherwise destructive behaviour can set in.
Ruby is a loving girl and she has been well taken care of.
Ruby will be up for adoption as well and we are looking for a similar home to what she is familiar with.
If you think you maybe able to foster Ruby or would be interested in adopting her then please email us
Adoption details
If you are interested in one of our animals please send an email to rescue@btcanimalshelter.com.au and we will reply as soon as possible.
A questionnaire will need to be completed which will allow us to ensure we are placing our animals into the right home. Once the completed questionnaire is received, we will respond by email / phone call to discuss the animal in further detail, and answer any other questions you may have. Please note that completing the questionnaire does not place you under any obligation to adopt. We can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt, payment is made and you can welcome your new pet into your life!
We offer a 2 week trial period.
