About Ollie
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
I am, as some might regard it, a very indulged kitty who has ruled my indoor kingdom for five years. If I was disturbed by the goings on of the barking beings outside, my servants would lower the blinds to shield my eyes. I have been attended to by local mobile veterinarians as necessary since it is quite abhorrent for me to be locked in one of those silly plastic boxes to transport me from A to B. I much prefer to be carried and have tended to be a little eccentric when it comes to transportation. In exchange for my indulgences I allow my humans to gaze upon my gorgeousness and pet me and groom me...for a little while anyway.
My Ideal Home:
I need to go to an indoor only home as the centre of your attention. I develop major anxiety when my environment is changed and I have no desire to be outside, tried it a few times and was very stressed and hissy when I returned (a few minutes later) wanting back in.
What is Known About My Background:
I have returned to Hunter Animal Rescue after being adopted by a wonderful family five years ago. They spoiled me rotten but sadly due to their unexpected need to accommodate a profoundly allergic family member I need to be rehomed. They tried everything to keep me - moving house, replacing furniture and giving me outside time didn't help and simply made me more and more stressed by all the changes.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
I have been settling into my foster home and after an initial hissy fit that lasted 36 hours am now calm and keen for a cuddle.
Ideally Ollie needs a loving and stable family environment. He has gone through quite a bit of stress these last few months and this last week particularly. Once he realized that I am just here to serve him he has returned to his smoochy self.
