On Hold
Hello friends, my name is Kahuna and I am the biggest and most affectionate cat you will ever own! I came into the shelter as a stray, and am now seeking a forever home that is perfect for me! My favourite things to do include invading your personal space, exploring things that I probably shouldn't and showing how happy I am by kneading my claws as deep into your lap as I can! The staff adore me here (who wouldn't?) so they will probably have a hard time saying goodbye to me. Here's the thing. I have tested positive for FIV, so there are a few requirements to my adoption. One, I have to live as an indoor only cat, but require a large and spacious home with access to a secure cat run. Two, I should only live with other cats if they are also FIV positive, to ensure that I don't spread it to anyone else. And three, my health will have to be monitored throughout my life (as with any animal) but my immune system is not as strong, so I may need to have more vet visits than that of an average cat. If you think your home could use a massive cuddle giving, knee kneading, 'staffy in a cats body' friend, I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, to meet you!
