About Dexter
Dexter spent most of his life living as a clinic cat in a veterinary clinic. He arrived at the vet clinic as a younger lad, extremely sick with cat flu. They didn't think he would make it. BUT... with a lot of love and care, he was nursed back to health. Unfortunately, this vet suffered a life-threatening stroke and had to close the clinic. So, we took Dexter on here at Animal Trust Society.
From the seriousness of the cat flu, Dexter now suffers from ongoing respiratory issues that require close attention and ongoing care. He has medication 3-4 times a week and needs his little eyes cleaned daily.
Dexter is a super sweet lad, and holds himself amazingly when his care is maintained.
We are looking for a very special home for Dexter to go to that can continue his maintenance level of care and give him a home to live out his retirement.
Medical notes
Dexter requires maintenance doses of antibiotics approx. 3-4 times a week. He also has eye cream that needs to be used around 3-4 times a week also, with his eyes needing to be cleaned each day due to his damaged tear ducts.
