About Dizzy
Hi, I am Dizzy and I am here on this website to find a forever home. My foster mum says I need a very special and particular home, so I hope I find some humans who will want me!
I can be a bit cautious when meeting new human and dogs for the first time, but after I know them and trust them well, I let them see my super fun side. I will always hide behind foster mum when I see any new people or dogs, she protects me. But then I realise they must be friends of hers, so they must be good people.
My only downside is that I can be an escape artist :( I am a Great Dane cross Greyhound so I do have lots of athleticism that gives me extra jumping power. I will need very secure 6 foot fencing (ideally colour bond). I do tend to panic when my human leaves and the first few days I went out looking for my carer, I thought something bad must've happened. But then I realised she eventually comes homes and she isn't leaving me.
My ideal home would have super dooper awesome fencing, a calm male dog, someone home more often than not, no cats or kids. I haven't met any cats or kids, but been a very cautious girl, they could get quite scary! I would love a nice calm quiet household and would be the perfect companion for a retired person or two!
I walk ok on the lead, I am learning to walk with the head halti and its getting much easier, I love fish, thats my fave food so I am learning some basic manners and finding that getting yummy fish as a treats help me focus and learn better!
