About Ivory
Hi! My name is Ivory and I’m a beautiful 25kg girl who loves to love. If you let me, I could love you all day – in the form of cuddles, bum leans and kisses. And I have a real thing for toes…I could lick them till the cows come home.
After playing chasey with my toys or doing some basic training, I would really love to just lounge around with you while you pat my belly. Yet, I have no issues being an independent woman. I’m currently at home for most of the day by myself with my foster brother as my foster mum and dad work long hours. As long as I am included in your family when you get home, that’s all I ask!
My foster mum says I’m a very smart girl considering I haven’t had any form of training until now – I’m a quick learner and very food-oriented. I have come so far in such a short period of time - I know sit, wait, shake, down and even touch. I’m house trained and have perfect manners when it comes to my food – however, I can get a bit excited when I meet new people so I tend to jump sometimes but that’s something I’m working on and getting the hang of very quickly. I walk beautifully on a lead; I will trot right along beside you. I don’t pull or jump around; however, I can get a bit wound-up if I see another dog as I tend to feel excited and unsure all at once.
I would be a great match for someone who is willing to continue my training and guide me through my mixed emotions to show me that the world is a wonderful place without the need to worry. I could definitely be the only dog in your family yet, I also think a placid and calm brother dog would be extremely beneficial for me. As mentioned before, I currently live with a chilled boxer dog and we are great mates – if we aren’t being sleepy heads and sharing our beds then we are running, playing and chasing each other. I even get along great with the family cat. If I do find my furever home with a dog sibling, a slow and calm introduction is all I need to put my mixed emotions at ease.
I’m not an overly energetic dog so a few walks a week will do me just fine. We don’t even have to walk that far before I begin to tire. But because I am quite intelligent and inquisitive and I still have a few of my puppy traits, enrichment toys would help keep my mind occupied and my nose out of your garden. As for fencing, a normal 6ft fence is fine with me.
Did someone say kids? I LOVE THEM! All ages and sizes. I currently live with 2 little boys and I just want to lick their faces. I also travel great in the car so we could go exploring the world together - Maybe we could go to the beach? I have so much to offer and so much love to give. If you think you could be my furever family, I would LOVE to meet you.
