On Hold
Henry needs a home on acreage, with an experienced cockatoo owner with a lot of patience and love to give. He is an absolute sweetheart who just needs some training. He is used to having no noise restrictions and so cannot be housed in suburbia.
He is adorable and flirty and a very special chatty boy.
General Info from owner:
Semi-tame
Loves female humans, is very flirtatious
Does not fly but wings are not clipped and may be able to fly if given chance
Not good with children.
Health checked by Avian Vet - March 2019
Unhandled in quite some time but does not display any overt aggression. Vet who conducted health check believes that Henry would take to handling quite well if undertaken by experienced person.
Updated info - Recent bird sitters found Henry to be very receptive to training and very good with their young male cockatoo.
Located in Sheldon, Brisbane. Henry is still residing with his owner and adoption enquiries will be run by the family. Please contact rescue for more information.
