About Turbo DL2182
Turbo is one of those big softies who is in touch with his feelings. Sure, he’s one of the boysss, but he doesn’t shy away from affection. He loves to be wherever you are, and leans his big ol' body against you when he’s getting pats.
Turbo is most content indoors; he’ll find a place to settle and will just chill. He’s happy to lay on the floor in the lounge room with you, or whatever. He sleeps in a crate through the night, and will go into his crate on cue. He’s house-trained and not destructive.
He can be nervous of new people as they approach, but soon wants pats and love from them, too. He’s a bit of a nervous nelly in general, but he does need a strong and confident owner who won’t baby him, as the rules and boundaries will help him to feel more secure.
Turbo isn’t overly energetic, he’s quite chill once settled. He doesn’t mind a good play with a trusted dog friend, but is definitely more of a people dog. Not suited to cats or young kids, and will need a nice secure yard.
For a big dog, he’s pretty easy to walk as he doesn’t pull on the leash. He’s learnt to pass cars without reacting, and is improving each day. Keep up the training and you will continue to build Turbo’s confidence.
If you have experience working with big dogs, Turbo would love to meet you! We can guarantee you will fall for his cheeky underbite smile. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to apply.
