Sweet, silly and a big staffy smile pretty much sum up what you can expect from little miss Maggie. Maggie is a four-year-old pocket rocket who had a rough time after being abandoned in the TSV floods. She was very anxious due to no training, proper care, routine and total lack of attention. We never gave up on Miss Maggie though and we are so amazed at her progress. With plenty of love and care from her foster parents and siblings, Maggie has come out of her shell and is learning to enjoy life again.
Maggie loves hanging out in the house during the day and going out for daily runs and games of fetch-the-stick (she is really good). She would suit a family able to walk her each day, allow her inside and a home with another dog bigger than her to help with her anxiety. If you are the family for her Maggie will give you plenty of kisses, protect your house from strangers and greet you with a little ‘Awwwwoo’ when you come home from work! (Note that Maggie will need daily ongoing anti-anxiety medication to allow her to be her best, happy self! And No cats or Small Dogs)
*Non-local adoptions: please keep in mind pet transport companies are currently closed or experiencing heavy delays due to having limited flight times with COVID-19 restrictions in place.
Medical notes
Note that Maggie will need daily ongoing anti-anxiety medication to allow her to be her best, happy self.
Adoption details
First you need to email and inquire about whatever animal you are looking at to find out more information. If you believe this animal may suit you we will discuss the adoption process and go from there. All our animals are located in Townsville, North Queensland. If you are interstate or not a local the Angel Paws team are more than happy to answer as many questions you have about the animal to ensure they are the right one for you. We are also able to provide more pictures from the animals foster carers to assist you on your decision. The rest of the adoption process all depends on those first steps.
